A familiar face within our studio! You can find Madison in class, leading a class, or performing on the stage! No matter where you find her, one thing we can promise - she is always smiling. Madison began studying dance at the age of 5 with Martinique School of Dance but found herself searching for a new dance home when Martinique closed their doors in 2010. Since entering Legacy's doors she has become a leader among her peers and with the instructors. We could not be more proud or thankful that Madison became a integral part of the Legacy Family.
Madison's favorite styles of dance include contemporary, ballet, and jazz but she will happily study and perform all genres . Madison is no stranger to the stage or performing. She has attended multiple dance conventions and competitions including DanceMakers Inc., Starquest, Showstopper, Dance Machine, On Stage America and World Class Talent. She has won numerous top honors and awards as a soloist and along side her team.
Madison has also had the privilege of traveling to New York City to further her dance training. She has had the honor of learning from some of the most talented and influential people in the dance world at Broadway Dance Center and Peridance Capezio Center. A few of of her most memorable instructors include Lindsey Leduc, Kathryn McCormick, Zach Vengas, Shelia Barker, Dejan Tubic, and E.J. Ferenak.
While at Legacy, Madison has played a very large role within the dance family and our studio community. She has performed such leads as the Spring Fairy in Cinderella and the swan duet in Swan Lake. She was also awarded Legacy's 2015 Dancer of the year for her positive attitude, hard work and dedication. To top her incredible dance training, Madison is a leader within her school. She is currently a member of the JRHS dance team Rapid Motion and she hopes to continue her dancing in college.
We look forward to watching Madison continue to grow as a leader and performer within Legacy!
