At Legacy, we celebrate every level, every style, and every stage. Our diverse class offerings allow each student to find their voice, build their confidence, and express who they are—on and off the dance floor.
Little girls and boys as young as 2 years old enjoy their first dance experience with us. Our Legacy Littles program is designed to spark imagination, build coordination, and introduce the joy of movement in a fun, nurturing environment. Styles offered: Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop, Creative Movement, Contemporary, and Acro From twirls and tiptoes to cartwheels and rhythms, there’s something for every tiny dancer to love! Dancers ages 8 and older are welcome—whether they’re brand new to dance or continuing their training. We offer classes in Ballet, Pointe, Tap, Jazz, Contemporary, Hip Hop, and Acro, with placement based on age and experience to ensure the right fit. All experience levels welcome! Legacy’s Ballet Company offers dedicated dancers the opportunity to deepen their classical training, refine technique, and perform in featured roles. Legacy’s Competition Dance Team (LCDT) is a high-energy, award-winning team that performs locally and competes along the East Coast. Open to dancers ages 5–18, LCDT offers multiple team levels and provides elite training in a supportive, character-driven environment. Members grow as artists, leaders, and role models—earning top honors like the Studio of Excellence, Choreography, and Apogee Awards, while proudly representing the Legacy name.

We are proud to recognize Rachel Knize as this year’s Legacy Student of the Year—an honor that celebrates not only her growth as a dancer but also her kindness, dedication, and quiet determination. For the past five years, Rachel has been a valued part of our Legacy family, consistently demonstrating a strong work ethic, a willingness to learn, and a genuine love for dance. She approaches every class with focus and humility, listens carefully to corrections, and is always striving to improve. Beyond her accomplishments in the studio, Rachel is a thoughtful and supportive friend who helps create the positive and encouraging environment we cherish at Legacy. She truly embodies the values of hard work, respect, and grace that we hope to inspire in all of our dancers. Congratulations, Rachel!
Daija Armwood
Student of the Year
We are proud to recognize Daija Armwood as the recipient of this year’s Legacy Dance Scholarship—an honor that celebrates not only her incredible talent but also her dedication, humility, and commitment to her team. Throughout the season, Daija consistently stepped up when needed, embracing new opportunities and challenges with confidence, gratitude, and grace. Her powerful stage presence and strong work ethic elevated every group she joined, inspiring those around her to perform at their very best. Selina Bosack
Rising Star
We are proud to recognize Selina Bosack as this year’s recipient of the Rising Star Award—an honor that celebrates a dancer whose growth, determination, and passion have truly stood out throughout the season. Selina consistently brings a strong work ethic and a positive attitude to every class and rehearsal, always eager to learn and challenge herself. She embraces corrections, works hard to improve, and approaches every opportunity with enthusiasm and confidence. Though small in stature, Selina’s strength, dedication, and love for dance shine brightly each time she steps into the studio.
